Hi Chefs,
August is almost here, and we need to cool off! The Summer Beach party is Monday, August 14 at Orienta Beach Club.
Please see the invite below. Spend the whole day or you can break it up. Lunch and Beach day, followed by Cocktail Party and Clambake on the beach! Leave the cooking to Chef Jan and take the night off!

Following that, we have our annual Club Chefs of Westchester Chris Gasse Foundation Golf Outing. This year it shall be hosted by General Manager Victor Boyd and Chef Andrew Howgego at Morefar Back O Beyond Golf Club on August 22.
Most of the foursomes have been filled up. Chef Lenny is organizing this event and has spoken to most of you already.
There might be a few spots open or if you wanted to get on a waiting list please email Chef Lenny at lphillips@shenorockshoreclub.org and see what he can do.
Here are the costs and timing for the outing:
Breakfast at 9am
11am Shotgun followed by Dinner, Raffle and Awards.
$225.00 per Golfer $900.00 per Foursome
$75.00 BBQ only Starting around 3ish
If you can’t play golf that day please come and join us for the BBQ and Raffle. Always a great time and a good way to to bid on some of the exclusive golf clubs donating foursome. Plus, always great raffle prizes.
Speaking of raffle prizes, we are asking everyone who is attending for golf to please bring something from their club. Hats shirts, golf and tennis gear, WINE - we always like wine. The more items we have the more winners!! So, please speak with your pro, managers and set something aside to make this section of the day a fun event.
Another way to contribute is to sponsor a hole. Chef Lorcan will be organizing the hole sponsorships. For the last 3 years this has been a huge success and we would love to have you help again.
The pricing is as follows: $100 for the personal sponsor donation and $200 for a corporate sponsorship. Please reach out the Chef Lorcan at lorcan.oconnell@oldoaks.com.
Of course it would not be fair to leave out Chef Andrew at Morefar. He has been working to get most of the food donated from vendors. It is always impossible for vendors to donate it all, and a little help from your club would go a long way. If you have any product you wish to donate or are able to purchase and have delivered to Morefar, please reach out. Chef Andrew can be reached at ahowgego@yahoo.com.
There are many ways to help out in this great event. Please do as much as you can.
